POLDAN

The POLDAN Wooden Products Establishment in Slawno began production on the 20th of October 1980. In the beginning a few score cubic metres of wood were processed in a month, mainly panelling was produced. The enterprise is situated on the main Gdansk-Szczecin road in an area with an abundance of high quality raw material in the form of coniferous timber, and also the need for sawn timber and glue laminated beams constituted the basis for the decision to develop the enterprise. At the turn of 1989 / 90 after building a new production hall and drying chambers, fruitful cooperation with the Danes began, from which the current name of the enterprise was taken-POLDAN.
